SES volunteers from Moruya and Batemans Bay were there with trucks and saws to remove the debris, with some help from community members.
Moruya SES were called to several fallen trees across Bingie and Broulee after hot and damaging winds on Saturday.
SES member Jeff McMahon said winds howled and roared around them as they attended Broulee jobs.
Two community members, or "spontaneous SES volunteers", assisted in cutting up a branch across Elizabeth Drive, Broulee at about 10.40am.
Not long after, the crew attended fallen trees and branches at Moir Place, The Ridge Road and Broulee Road, near the Broulee RFS station.
Mr McMahon said SES relieved RFS of the job, and was a good example of inter-agency teamwork.
At 7.30pm, an SES crew removed large branches blocking the front door of a Bingie home.
Spontaneous volunteers help SES in one-off emergency events. Go to www.ses.nsw.gov.au for info.
