4.08: A Bega VRA spokesperson has confirmed one person was trapped inside the vehicle after it had come to rest on its side. The VRA crew and other services assisted in extracting the man from the vehicle to a waiting ambulance.

3.53pm: A vehicle has been placed on a tow truck at the scene. Earlier reports that the accident involved a caravan appear to be incorrect.
3.09pm: The crash occured just after 2pm six kilometres along the Bega-Candelo Road at Kanoona. A NSW Police spokesman said Malmani Lane was the nearest cross street. Council was controlling traffic. One person was still trapped in vehicle at 2.21pm and VRA had been called to help extract.
3.00: One lane of the Bega-Candelo road is closed and will remain so for some time.
2.58pm: A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said paramedics were assessing a 46-year-old male at the scene after a single-vehicle crash. It is understood the patient's vehicle had rolled.
2.45: Emergency services are racing to the scene of a reported car crash on the Bega-Candelo Rd at Kanoona.
A Rural Fire Service spokesman said a four-person crew from the Candelo brigade was sent at 2.22pm on Friday, October 18.
He said RFS was assisting other emergency agencies at the scene.
Reports were coming in that a ute towing a caravan had left the road and was on its side, with a male driver apparently trapped inside.
Rural Fire Service, paramedics, police and VRA are all reportedly on scene.
