On her return to the coast, Gay brought her sister's two dogs, Dudley and Flora, with her, as the family are heading off to Sydney for the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. (The organisers are bringing a full-scale Edinburgh Castle back drop for the concerts).
Gay will spoil her "kids" with a beauty makeover, while they are here, which they love.
The Scottish Dancing group from the Bay has also had a bus trip to Sydney to see the Tattoo, with an overnight stay up there.
They loved watching the highland dancing and came home wishing they could do it like that!
Noreen Bain of Catalina has been busy in her garden, working very hard, and has been rewarded with a beautiful garden as a result.
The Eurobodalla Health Expo took place at the Soldiers Club last Saturday, and had people coming and going while it was on.
There was the Bay's Pipe Band performing, as well as Tribal Belly Dancers and Tai Chi for Arthritis ladies giving demonstrations.
Lee Marks of Surf Beach has been to Canberra again, to welcome a beautiful little grandson to her son Darron and family.
While there, Lee manages to work hard, either inside or outside in their garden.
Those lovely ladies from the Bay's CWA group are organising another High Tea in their hall in Edward Rd, next Saturday, October 26, at 2pm for a 2.30pm start.
The ladies really outdo themselves at these functions, bringing out all the fine china and scrumptious foods they can get their hands on.
An exhibition of quilts and table runners by Batemans Bay's Quilters and Patchworkers will be on display.
The cost is $25 per head and bookings for tables of six are essential on phone 4472 3317.
I have been told a new committee has been elected by the CWA ladies, which has a few younger ladies on it, so watch out for some more exciting functions to come.
Did you know that Prime's Weekend Sunrise will be filming the weather segments in the Eurobodalla this coming weekend?
The will be at Riverside Park in Moruya on Saturday and at Corrigans Beach, Batehaven on Sunday?
