A Batemans Bay Police spokesman said police received a report of a single vehicle accident.
He said no one was trapped, but there may have been a risk of fuel and oil contamination.
Fire and Rescue and paramedics attended the scene.
A Batemans Bay Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said the hazmat (hazardous materials) van was called at 7.07am.

The driver "evacuated themselves".
The Fire and Rescue crew used "booms" - an absorbent - to isolate the oil leaking from the car.
They were there for about 1.5 hours. The car was towed.
