Event organiser Leisa Tague said numbers doubled the inaugural event, and at least half of attendees were from out of town, down for the long weekend.
The Batemans Bay Rock n Rollers co-founder said younger dancers joined in this time, showing off moves they learnt since the studio opened up their doors to the younger age group.
She said teenage years were a "crucial age" to learn, but all ages were welcome.
"We are focusing on getting younger people involved," she said.
"Anyone can dance. You don't have to relive the fifties. We encourage people to wear jeans and T-shirts."
"I had a 72-year-old ask if he could join classes. We have a few in their sixties and a couple in their seventies."
Supporting local businesses was another goal.
Batemans Bay band Shack Shakers played some classic rock n roll tunes, with Jane Urbanik singing and playing drums, Jon Wilson on double bass and Greg Powell on guitar.
"The ice creamery and fish and chips shops were flat chat," Ms Tague said.
"We got really good feedback.
"We had another band ask about how they could do something similar."
Ms Tague looked forward to more events, especially in the warmer months during the evening.
