"A big crowd was on hand to celebrate the milestone event," manager Shirley Diskon said.
"Eurobodalla Shire deputy Mayor Rob Pollock officially opened the event and re-enforced the council's commitment to supporting Hope House wherever possible.
"NRL and Australian Rugby League legend Mick Weyman attended, and former Hope House residents, workers, volunteers and musicians, The Bay Boys, donated their time.
The birthday cake was provided by Batehaven Bakery and was cut by Community Life President Dennis Hughes and Mrs Diskon.
The silent auction raised over $1500 for improvements to Hope House.
Mrs Diskon said NSW Minister for Family and Community Services and Kiama MP Gareth Ward would visit on September 20 to discuss how the government can further support Hope House.
