Police are appealing for witnesses following an alleged armed robbery by a man in a "ghillie" suit at Mogo.
It was the second case within a week of an armed man wearing a full-body costume robbing a retail outlet in the Eurobodalla Shire.
Police said at about 12am on Wednesday, September 11, a service station operator was confronted by a man at the fuel pumps.
"The night console operator at a service station on Sydney Street, Mogo, was attending the fuel pumps when he was allegedly approached by an unknown male in a green camouflage 'ghillie' suit," police said.
"The man allegedly produced a firearm before demanding cash and cigarettes from the male employee and fleeing on foot across the Princes Highway.
"Police arrived at the scene shortly after and established a crime scene, before seizing a number of items for forensic examination.
"No one was injured during the incident.
"The man is described as being approximately 175cm tall, of medium build, and was wearing a green camouflage 'ghillie' suit and black face net at the time of the incident.
"Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed a motorbike in the area around that time.
"Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact Batemans Bay police on (02) 4472 0099 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
