Did you miss me? I think not with Jenny Scott standing in as she is the social butterfly of the Bay!
I have been doing the Silo Art Trail in Victoria. WOW! Put this on your bucket list and just do it! Take a detour through the tiny village of Tongala, where the shops and businesses have all been painted in country scenes. The paintings by Murray all feature a very small outhouse hidden in the scene; it's a challenge to find them! I was lucky enough for Murray to do me a personal drawing of "Dawn's pub", which I shall treasure. You can also be an angel (for once in your life!) which most local brides take advantage of on their big day. See Fashionista below!
Belated birthday wishes to gorgeous Lynne Cassidy from Coila. Kevin probably took you for a romantic pony ride?
Have you taken the chilli challenge? Visit Jammy Pammy this Sunday at the Nelligen Hall market to taste her homemade 40 jams, relishes, chutneys and sauces. If you like it hot, her Scotch Bonnet Sauce is the big kahuna! Check out the other wares and local produce. The market is open until 2pm in the quaint village hall. This is a great family day out.
Beautiful Sue Berry from The Bower, Broulee, was surprised with friends and family to celebrate her 60th birthday. Hard to believe Sue is 60, she is such a youthful bundle of joy!
Lots of locals enjoyed the sculptures at Willinga Park, Bawley Point. It was a great day out and the sculptures were amazing. Keep an eye out for when Willinga Park is open again, it is well worth it for the beautiful gardens, let alone the sculptures.
Another great event last weekend was at The Waterfront with locals showing off their rock and roll skills to some great music. Sharon and Erich Danhel were rocking!
Sunday will see hunky Dane Sanders with his feet up, eating birthday cake. Beautiful wife Pornjit is a great cook, but you can't beat a nice big fat creamy slice of cake!
The Uniting Church Thai Chi group took advantage of the weather at their favourite coffee shop, Tribe. There were about 20 women and one (I won't say lonely!) man. He looked extremely pleased with himself!
Two good looking birds taking a break from gardening, Robyn Edgar caught up with good friend Julieanne McCloskey for a coffee and a chat.
Fashionista: A Tongala bride takes advantage of the angel wings for a great snap for her big day. I tried to emulate her but alas was not dressed appropriately.
