The eight-kilometre run is the Moruya Surf Life Saving Club's only fundraising activity for the year, and all proceeds from the day go directly to the club.
The course begins at Moruya's Riverside Park at 9am, and finishes at the Surf Club via South Head Road.
Late registrations are available from 7.30am, and will cost $55 ($45 for under 18s). Online registration is still available for $50 ($40 for under 18s).
Event spokesperson, Karyn Starmer, said the club expects strong numbers on Sunday.
"Registrations are ahead of last year, so we're pretty happy with that," she said. "We've been staggering our prices ahead of the event, and we've had good numbers coming in with that initiative.
"This is the club's one fundraising event for the year, and all funds will go directly to the club to buy more surf lifesaving equipment. This is real money going into our community for tangible things.
The event was on the ropes after 2018, but Ms Starmer said event sponsor Southern Phone were happy to jump on board.
"We had to pay for traffic control for the first time last year, which is quite expensive," Ms Karmer said. "We also have to pay for timing and electronic bibs, and our projections showed we would make less than $1000 last year.
"While it's a really important event in the community, it got to the point where it wasn't worth it. We approached Southern Phone last year, and they helped us, but the traffic control turned out to be more expensive than originally thought.
"We weren't sure if Southern Phone would help us again this year, but they were happy to do so. We don't have an ongoing sponsorship agreement with them, but we're confident of their support in the future."
Ms Starmer said there was plenty of other entertainment for those not so keen on running.
"We'll have a coffee van at the start, and people can start turning up from 7.30am," she said. "We've got a massage tent at the finish, and Ironic Circus will be performing.
"The coffee van will be at the finish as well, and the Surf Club will be putting on a barbecue. Spectators and family/friends are more than welcome throughout the day."
