The AWL Re-homing "Winter Warmer Special" runs until the end of August! Our cats and older kittens, all need loving furr-ever homes and are purr-fectly happy to settle into new families. Fluffy, a black and white male, and Sara, the spotted tabby with a white chest, are only 10 months old and have nice natures despite being a little timid at first. To raise funds to support pets that come into AWL care each year, we are asking shire locals to support our AWL "Tailwaggers Walk" on Sunday, September 15. This walk from the NATA Oval to the boardwalk is for the whole family. A registration fee of $10 for the first dog and $5 for extra family dogs goes to feed and care for AWL pets living with carers, until they go into new homes. Games, pet parades and fun stalls will happen, along with a Car Boot Sale at the far side of NATA Oval. More information on 0400 443 466.
