The ACT Meteors, who play in the Women's National Cricket League, will visit various locations in September ahead of the upcoming season.
The Meteors will start the tour with a gala day in Bermagui on Friday, September 6.
Then on Saturday, the team will contest a practice match at Bega's George Griffin Oval against a combined boys and girls Far South Coast side at 10am. They will also take part in a Q&A evening in Bermagui, and an open training session in Tuross Head.
"It's quite exciting to see a combined under 18s team against a full-strength Meteors squad, they're bringing the whole team down," Association spokesman Michael Trennery said.
The Q&A event will happen at the Bermagui Beach Hotel from 6.30pm on Saturday, September 7.
The function will also act as the official launch of the FSCCA season, and the ABC's Claire Wheaton will host a 'get to know the players' session, as well as inviting questions from those attending.
Mr Trennery said that all female players who were registered during the debut women's season will be welcome to the night for free.
"We're inviting all players who were part of the women's season along to the night free of charge," he said in an ABC interview.
Cricket promoter Dave Allen said the visit was a wonderful boost for the association.
"It's important being in a regional area down here you don't get to see the top sports teams in the flesh like you might in urban areas, so this is a great chance to meet some role models up close," Allen said during a recent interview on the ABC.
Both Mr Allen and Mr Trennery said it was great see the Far South Coast establishing strong links with Canberra pathways.
Tickets are $15 (free for registered female players), and are available online via eventbrite.com.au/e/669944441177, or at IGA Narooma, Bermagui Cellars, Little Bottler Pambula, and IGA Eden.
The team will then train at Tuross Head's Kyla Park on Sunday, September 8, from 10am to 11am as preparation for their season opener on September 22 against Victoria.
General manager of high performance for the Meteors, Olivia Thornton, wants all FSCCA junior coaches to attend the event to learn and discuss training techniques used by professional coaches.
It's sure to be an invaluable session to assist volunteer coaches as they get ready for the upcoming season.
After the session, the team will split into groups and hold 'come-and-try' sessions for all girls aged eight and above.
This will be followed by a barbecue lunch at 12.15pm.
