An RFS spokesperson said the brigade received a freshly refurbished Cat 1 tanker.
"This refurbished truck comes with all the latest safety features to ensure our crews are kept as safe as possible," they said. "Some of the new features include crew cabin protection sprays, roll-down safety curtains, and integrated wheel sprays.
"Not only does it have the latest crew-safety protection, but it also has the latest livery, high-visibility stickers, new flashing LED lights, and new LED work lights to keep us safe when working near roads.
"It also comes with new cupboards to store our equipment, which makes it easier to grab what we need, when we need it.
"It's also got the latest radio equipment to ensure our communications from the fire ground are always heard."
Moruya RFS would like to thank the Far South Coast team for organising the new tanker.
