The local Friendship Group had a great experience last weekend. They turned up for a lunch, which they had booked for their group at a local restaurant. So Jenny took the orders from those attending and passed them on to him. After a while, when the food was almost ready, Robert offered to be the waiter. So he went to the kitchen and delivered the meals to the table. For their patience on the day, the boss shouted everyone a drink, on the house.
Dianne Webb of Tomakin is really looking forward to another cruise coming up shortly. She has not been on a cruise for a while now, so this one is going to be something special.
Marj Holman from Surf Beach had her family down from Canberra for a weekend recently. Marj was taken out to lunch then for a scenic drive to Moruya afterwards.
Carolyn Smith from Lilli Pilli hosted a birthday lunch for Gabby Donlevy and friends recently. A lovely day was had by all.
Among the birthday girls during this last week has been the gorgeous Christine Edwards of Catalina, who spent the weekend golfing, then out for dinner.
Also having a birthday was Dawn Barter of Denhams Beach, who spent her birthday with a very sore hip.
Girls, get your calendars out now and mark on them that the wonderful ladies from the CWA are having their Spring Fashion Parade, on Saturday, September 14, at 1.30pm.
These fashion parades are usually very well attended and feature current fashions from Millers, which are modelled by the lovely CWA ladies. They then serve a scrumptious afternoon tea, all for $12. There are also lucky door prizes and raffles on the day, usually to raise money for something very worthwhile.

Ann, Carolyn, Jan and Jenny were able to hear about the new programmes in the pipeline and discuss them with Marcella and Pramesh.
