We had perfect conditions for Wednesday evening's 615th event in the history of the Broulee Runners and walkers.

We welcomed Charlotte and Hollie Hatcher, Andrea Cantle, Johnathan Feneley and Taylor Traecey.

Nine-year-old Taylor was a sensation running the 5 kilometres in 23min 27sec, placing her in 5th spot over this distance on Wednesday.

She is being coached by Matt Johnsen and was only going to run the 2 kilometres.

However, this being her first run with the group and being unfamiliar with the course, she decided to follow the faster runners and ended up doing the 5 kilometres course.

Taylor could follow in the footsteps of Jayla Hancock-Cameron and Shayne Hargreaves, previous Broulee Runners, who compete on the national scene.

In the 2 kilometres, personal best times were recorded by Freya, Sadie and Kirsty Dunn, Jordan Hatcher, Julia McDermott, Anna Johnson and Marcus Richards
