A "sister" barge to the 3000-tonne barge anchored at Clyde River has left Brisbane River and is planned to arrive in the next two weeks, RMS says.

Named AMS1807, the sister barge would support the current barge, AMS1803, in building the Batemans Bay Bridge replacement project.
RMS said AMS1807 is about 21 metres wide and 55 metres long.
It would be anchored upstream of the Batemans Bay Bridge for the duration of the project within an exclusion zone marked by yellow buoys.
RMS said the arrival of the barge would require an additional or extended opening of the lifting span of the Batemans Bay Bridge within the next two weeks.
The lift would happen outside of peak traffic hours to minimise impacts to motorists, with the date and time subject to weather and tide conditions.
The community would be advised of the exact date and more specific times the day before the bridge lift was required.
The lift would cause delays along the Princes Highway, the Kings Highway and other local roads.
Motorists would be advised of the likely length of traffic delays the day before the lift was required.
RMS said all vessel operators in the area should exercise caution, keep a proper lookout and comply with local buoyage and signage.
Motorists and pedestrians are reminded to follow the bridge signals when crossing the bridge.
