Finalists frocked up and rocked up with supporters to celebrate the success of businesses and individuals from across the shire.
Emcee Shanna Provost invited major sponsors to speak and presents awards.
The first winner on the night was Gabrielle Johnson, of Coast and Country Occupational Therapy. She was one of two finalists for the Outstanding Young Employee Award.
It proved a big night for the Moruya business, when Coast and Country Occupational Therapy's Jessica Hannan won the Outstanding Young Entrepreneur Award.
Richard Adams, of Smadar Enterprises, won the Outstanding Business Leader Award and Moruya Engineering won an award for excellence in innovation.
Founder of The Girl Campaign, Kimberli Eke, was thrilled to receive two awards. She is on a mission to teach self-love to teenage girls and her campaign was the People's Choice in the Moruya region and recognised for Excellence in Social Enterprise.
Yumaro also claimed two awards. The Moruya service provides jobs, training, lifestyle support, accommodation and home and community support services to more than 140 people with a permanent disability in the Eurobodalla and Shoalhaven regions. Yumaro was honoured for Excellence in Accessibility and Excellence in Business.
The winner of the Employer of Choice Award did not have far to travel, as Ms Provost noted: it was the Tomakin Sports and Social Club. The Start-up Superstar award went to Narooma-based business, Southbound Escapes.
Moruya's Southlands Fruit and Vegetables won the Excellence in Sustainability Award.
Digital agency, Fisse Design, won an award for Excellence in Micro Business and Tilba's Dromedary Hotel won the Excellence in Small Business Award.
This year's outstanding Local Chamber of Commerce is the Mogo Village Business Chamber.
People's Choice for the Batemans Bay region was Soul Tribe Studio, Smokey Dan's for the Mogo region, Glennie's Seafood and Burger Shack for the Narooma region and Mountain View Farm for the Tilba region.
Winners of this year's awards will proceed to the Illawarra and Far South Coast Regional Awards. Winners from the regional awards will be invited to the NSW State Business Awards.
