Christine's "crew" went all out to make sure the day was successful. Dressed in pyjamas featuring teddys, llamas, flowers, sheep, rabbits, checks and all manner of sleepwear, the crew loaded up with trays of goodies, scones, brownies, cup cakes, slices, and cheesecakes, and headed off to the businesses in the CBD.
They came back with donations of $5, $10, and sometimes more to add to the tally of over $500 for the morning. Not bad considering their aim was $200. This will be an enormous help for the foundation whose aim is to "help little kids fulfil big dreams".
The mood was fun fun fun ... oh and food, as friends of Christine and her crew dropped in to add their support.
As Christine said, "Today was so good. Our team were excited to be part of our first charity event. We cooked. We sold plates of goodies. We made people smile in the streets to see us in our PJs. We sold a raffle tickets and we met lots of fabulous people."
Well done Christine Ewin and your support crew!
