Moruya Jockey Club premierships are set to go down to the wire on Monday, July 15.
The meeting will be the last for the season and all the club premierships are up for close finishes.
The trainer's title looks a race in 2, with Natalie Jarvis just in front of the fast finishing Robert and Luke Price stable.
The Price's won three races at the June 28 meeting to get within a win of Natalie, who until then looked to have the title in the bag.
Both stables are very keen to win the title, with Natalie having eight runners and the Price's 10. They both have good winning chances and, while Robert has won the Moruya title on a number of occasions, the locals will be hoping for a Jarvis victory.
The jockey's title is just as close, with Jess Taylor one win in front of Winona Costin.
Nick Heywood is next on the table two wins back, so it looks like the title will go to one of these two fine female riders. The question is will it be Jess' or Winona's smile that graces the winner's stall?
Sonnets, trained by Lynda Bundy needs a win in race 5 to take the lead for Horse of Year title. After a strong second at Moruya two weeks ago, she will be well in the betting.
However, it might come down to the last to decide the titles. Malachi Crunch, the current leader for Horse of the Year title, is out to cement the title and maybe get Natalie Jarvis over the line as well. In the same race the Price's will have two runners, with Winona on Twirling Moss, so it could be a grandstand finish.
Another great day's racing, on yet another good Moruya racing surface - and the race for the titles alone will be worth the admission fee on Monday.
