The Bureau of Meterology has issued severe weather warnings including damaging winds for people in the South Coast for Wednesday and Thursday, July 10-11.

The Bureau said vigorous west to northwesterly winds were expected to develop ahead of an approaching cold front.
Damaging winds, averaging 80 to 90 km/h, with peak gusts in excess of 120 km/h, were possible about alpine areas above 1900 metres from Wednesday afternoon, becoming likely from Wednesday night.
This front was forecast to cross southern New South Wales during Thursday, July 11.
Another cold front was expected to cross the state between Friday and Saturday, July 12-13 with winds only easing after the passage of the second front.
From Thursday morning, July 11, damaging winds averaging 60 to 70 km/h, with peak gusts in excess of 90 km/h, were likely to impact some areas below 1900 metres.
Winds were forecast to ease during Saturday following the passage of the second cold front.
Blizzards were likely for alpine areas above 1700 metres from Wednesday evening.
The NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service recommended back-country travel be postponed until conditions improve.
Locations which could be affected included Thredbo, Perisher, Nowra, Bowral, Batemans Bay, Braidwood, Moruya Heads, Goulburn, and Cooma.
The State Emergency Service advised that people should:
- Move vehicles under cover or away from trees.
- Secure or put away loose items around your house, yard and balcony.
- Keep at least 8 metres away from fallen power lines or objects that may be energised, such as fences.
- Report fallen power lines to either Ausgrid (131 388), Endeavour Energy (131 003), Essential Energy (132 080) or Evoenergy (131 093) as shown on your power bill.
- For emergency help in floods and storms, ring your local SES Unit on 132 500.
