The council said the ceremony would include a welcome to country, traditional smoking ceremony, traditional dance performance and free morning tea.
The council's community development coordinator Zoe Morgan encouraged Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal community members to get involved in the week.
"This year's NAIDOC Week theme is 'Voice. Treaty. Truth.' in which we're encouraged to work together for a shared future," he said.
"NAIDOC Week is the perfect opportunity for Australians from all walks of life to come together and celebrate and support our local Aboriginal community."
