Megee's 31-17 win over Tiyce marked the first time in club history that two junior bowlers played off for the Major Singles championships.
Megee will now represent the Tomakin Men's Bowling Club at the South Coast District Champion of Club Champions Singles in mid-July.
The final was the culmination of an extremely successful year of bowling for both boys, who have traveled across the state plying their trade.
The pair went to the NSW State Junior Championships at the Warilla Bowling Club last July alongside Jacob Colt and James Wayside, representing Zone 7.
The foursome were knocked out before the semi-finals, but Megee and Tiyce won through to the semi-finals in the pairs.
They then traveled to the State Junior Seven-a-Side Inter-Zone Championships in Dubbo last August.
They once again played as a pair, and had two good wins to get them through to the playoffs. Unfortunately, the event was cut short by heavy rain.
October saw the City v Country Test Match series, where both boys were selected for the Country team to play in Cabramatta.
Tiyce was then picked to travel to Braidwood for the District Presidential Shield, also in October. He played alongside Les Vincent, Steve Gigg, Neil Power, and Shane Clarke.
The two bowlers featured at the District Junior Singles Championships in January, with Tiyce winning the final 31-29 over Megee.
Megee then traveled to the 2019 State Triples in February alongside Brett Keegan and Brett Megee, and the trio made the semi-finals.
April saw the Zone 7 Junior Championships, where Nick Tiyce claimed a victory over Cooma's Jack Barnes. He then combined with Megee to win the Zone Junior Pairs over Hayden Andersona nd Josh Allman from the Far South Coast. The two boys also combined with Hayden Batson (Nowra) and Stephen Bowerman (Callala) to win the Junior Fours.
