Marine Rescue Batemans Bay responded to reports of two male kayakers in the water between Observation Point and Snapper Island at about 1.30pm on Monday, June 17.
A Marine Rescue spokesperson said a land-based informant provided crews with the details and Batemans Bay 21 was launched.
The crew assisted one kayaker from the water on to their rescue vessel and the other made his way back to shore.
Marine Rescue said the recovery was made within 11 minutes of the initial call.
Batemans Bay 21 then returned the kayakers to calmer waters to their launch point.
Medical treatment was offered but was declined. Neither of the kayakers reported any injuries.
The spokesperson said Batemans Bay 21 was crewed by David Murn and John Clements, while communications were handled by Michael Kelly in the radio base.
