Youngster Rex Lee kicked four goals in the win, while veteran Shaun Green chipped in with three. Will Aiken and Ross Hummel both kicked a pair of goals.
The Seahawks started the game slow, but an inaccurate Woden (3.6) were unable to take advantage of their dominance to lead by just 11 points at quarter time.
Batemans Bay made them pay in the second, amassing six unanswered goals to take a 25-point lead into the main break.
The match tightened up again in the third quarter, with the Seahawks adding just five points to their half-time lead. However, they accelerated away in the fourth, kicking four goals to one to record a 49-point win.
Seahawks' coach Mick Kenny said the win was pleasing considering the first quarter.
"We had a pretty ordinary start, and we were a little lucky Woden didn't take full advantage," he said. "We were really disappointed with our early game. We were second to the ball, and they were dominating us on the inside.
"We spoke about once we can win that inside battle, or even just start to even it up, we could really hurt them on the outside.
"Full credit to our midfield, they really started to get on top, and our outside run really did damage in the second quarter."
Kenny said a change in thinking going forward helped his side kick a winning score.
"It wasn't just one guy kicking goals this week, it was spread out," he said. "It was really good to be able to find other avenues to goal.
"It was probably an issue at the start of the year, we tended to get a little Ross-Hummel conscious, but the last couple of weeks we've been able to find other ways to goal.
"Rex Lee was outstanding. He's really relishing senior footy, and having guys around him who have played a fair bit of footy in the forward line."
Kenny said the fourth-quarter performance was especially promising.
"Saturday had that feel about it," he said. "We felt if we kicked away we could put a cricket score on them in the end. We were lucky enough to do that in the last quarter.
"It's partly fitness, but momentum is really big in footy. When we have that, we want to make the most of it."
