The girls compete in full-contact games of 10-a-side rugby with scrums, line outs, tackles, tries, and goal kicks.
The rules of the competition makes sure that teams match numbers on the day. The aim is to play with 10, but some games will commence at seven-a-side if one team is short.
The Bay girls have shown great skills and enthusiasm in both attack and defence. They've only played one home game to date, and travel again this weekend to play Cooma.
It's expected they will then get a run of home games to showcase their skills.
The team only just has enough girls for 10-a-side, and would welcome any girl who is interested in playing rugby union.
Training is every Tuesday and Thursday from 4.30pm at Hanging Rock Oval.
New players can simply turn up to training or make contact with the club through the Batemans Bay Junior Rugby Facebook page.
