As the Queen's Birthday weekend comes to an end, NSW Police have warned motorists the dangers of losing concentration on well-travelled rural roads.

Police said three out of four of the fatal crashes occurred on rural roads.
Three out of the four also occurred in southern NSW.
Traffic and Highway Patrol Commander Assistant Commissioner Michael Corboy said the fatal crashes occurred when the vehicles left the road and hit other objects.
"While the causes of all the crashes on the weekend are still under investigation, I would encourage all drivers or riders to be aware of their surroundings and take breaks if they are tired," Assistant Commissioner Corboy said.
"It doesn't matter where you are travelling to - crashes do not discriminate. They can happen anywhere and at any time," Assistant Commissioner Corboy said.
A 91-year-old man died after he was involved in a multi-vehicle crash north of Crookwell on Friday afternoon, June 7.
On the same afternoon, a 34-year-old male motorcycle rider died after he was involved in a crash involving a truck in Riverstone.
A 25-year-old Bomaderry man died, and another man was in critical condition after a two-vehicle crash on Gerroa Road, at Berry on Saturday afternoon, June 8.
The latest death was of a man, believed to be in his early 50s, after a single-vehicle crash on Barooga Road at Tocumwal, southern NSW.
Police said the crash occurred after the Nissan Patrol the man was travelling in hit a tree. The wreckage was discovered around 6.30am on Monday, June 10, by a passing motorist who alerted emergency services. Inquiries into the events leading up to the crash were still continuing.

Police said some examples of inappropriate driver behaviour detected during day three of "Operation Stay Alert" were:
GRANVILLE: At 1.10am yesterday (Monday 10 June 2019), police saw a motor vehicle parked in Everley Street, which had its headlights on and engine running. Police spoke to the 26-year-old male driver. A roadside breath test returned a positive result and a subsequent breath analysis returned a reading of 0.216. His licence was suspended, and he was issued a Field Court Attendance Notice for the offence of high-range PCA. The 26-year-old will appear at Parramatta Court on 23 July 2019.
CRINGILA-PORT KEMBLA: About 9pm yesterday (Monday 10 June 2019), a 35-year-old motorcyclist allegedly did not stop at a random breath testing site on Five Islands Road, Cringila. Police commenced patrols of the area to find the rider. Minutes later police responded to a call for assistance after a collision in a nearby suburb. When officers arrived, they found a motorcycle and B-Double had collided on Flinders Street, Port Kembla. The male rider sustained serious arm, face and other injures. Police will speak with him when his medical condition allows.
