From 8pm on Wednesday, June 12, to 4am on Thursday, June 13, the council said water supply would be switched to the Long Beach reservoir as part of works associated with the new Batemans Bay bridge.
Homes in low-lying areas, including Maloneys Beach, were less likely to be affected.
The council said they would assist John Holland and its sub-contractor to connect a new water main supplying town water to North Batemans Bay, Surfside, Long Beach and Maloneys Beach.
It was relocated as part of the bridge project.
The Batemans Bay Bridge was being constructed by John Holland on behalf of the NSW Government's Roads and Maritime Services.
