I don't believe it! And yet, the real estate agent assures me that 4 Protea Place is 12 years old.
I feel like I've walked into a classy show home at the Leppington Display Village.
Protea Place is in an upmarket area of Catalina, quiet and peaceful, with neighbours who are house proud and are obviously running a neighbourhood garden competition.
Everything at 4 Protea Place is in "as new" condition and I'm sure it even has that "new" smell, so gorgeous!
This home is solid creamy white brick and therefore the street appeal is "wow"!
The grand pillared entrance is very fancy and is a taster for what lies beyond the impressive front door.
The kitchen, with its very unusual smoky glass upper cupboard doors, is gleaming soft beige, looking out to the open plan family space, the dining room and the alfresco area. Ideal for a young family, as well as the more mature demographic.
The ensuite bathroom blew my mind! I want this ensuite moved to my humble home.
Leadlight in the huge window which is light and airy with double basins and a spa tub, begging me to hop on in!
The only thing that stopped me was fear of giving the other viewers a heart attack!
All of the rooms are decorated in soft colours, nothing that will need a tin of Taubmans to "fix" it!
The other three bedrooms are all a good size and the laundry is enormous!
Ladies, you will love the walk-in wardrobe and guys will love the enormous double garage.
The study off the family room is a haven of peace and quiet, not large but exactly the right size to make it a cosy nook, lined with book cases.
I think, surprisingly, it's my favourite room in the house, as it is so cute yet functional.
No, I've changed my mind!
I've discovered the alfresco area and the 10-metre lap pool which is both a lap pool and a normal pool in one!
If I was lucky enough to live here, I would sit out here all day I think, as it is a great little sun trap.
I'm off home to finish crocheting my bikini because I'm sure I'll be invited back by the lucky new owners for a LONG DIP and cocktails on the alfresco area!
