Climate advocacy group 350 Eurobodalla spokesman Allan Rees said it was inspiring to see community members coming together.
"It was great to see young children standing hand in hand with their parents and grandparents in silent solidarity for this great cause saying NO to fossil fuels and YES to clean energy," Mr Rees said.
"350 Eurobodalla encourages people to think about the climate when you vote next Saturday. We have no Planet B."
Mr Rees said Labor's Fiona Phillips, The Greens' Carmel McCallum, National Katrina Hodgkinson and the United Australia Party's Milton Leslight attended a climate forum on Tuesday, at the Batemans Bay Soldiers club, but Liberal Warren Mundine did not. "All candidates agreed climate change was a serious problem, but only The Greens and Labor have real policies for action," Mr Rees said.
