The reminder came after crews responded to reports of a bush fire in North Batemans Bay on May 4.
"Upon arrival our crews found a large pile burn occurring," the service said.
"We'd like to remind all residents that it is a requirement to give our fire control centre and your neighbours at least 24 hours notice before lighting a pile burn."
On Monday morning, May 6, crews responded to another bush/grass fire in Benandarah.
"Crews found some logs smouldering on the edge of a hazard reduction burn," they said.
"We worked with crews from Nelligen and Long Beach to extinguish a few smoking logs and stumps."
The brigade reminded the public pile burns are only allowed in the rural fire district in the Eurobodalla.
They said to call Batemans Bay's control centre on 4474 2855.
