Bega centre Zach Cuzner scored four tries in the win, which sees the Roosters remain in second place on the Group 16 first-grade ladder.
The Roosters got off to the perfect start, as two quick tries to Cuzner saw them jump out to a 10-0 lead in as many minutes.
Batemans Bay's Tom Bollard hit back with a try, but Cuzner's first half hat-trick helped Bega build a solid 20-6 lead.
The Tigers cut that lead back to eight points in the shadows of half time through a Damian Bell try.
The second half started perfectly for the Roosters, who scored two more quick tries through Brendan Bartlett and Jackson Whitby.
When Zac Cuzner crossed for his fourth try, the Roosters owned an almost unassailable 34-12 lead.
The Tigers scored two late tries through Brian DeVries and Bollard, but it wasn't enough as they slumped to a 1-3 record.
Roosters' coach, Scott Barton, said he was happy with his side's performance.
"I felt we were well on top, and I don't think we looked like losing the game at all," he said. "Credit to the Bay though, they kept coming. They were short of numbers, so they deserve a lot of credit for their efforts.
"We probably got a bit complacent towards the end and let a couple of late tries in, so we've got to keep building ourselves.
"We're four-from-four now, and we did some really good things today. We've just got to keep going, stay positive, and keep working one game at a time."
The Roosters hot start may have shocked some outside viewers, but Barton said the club was always confident of a strong season.
"We lost a few quality players over the summer, but we also picked up a few quality guys as well," he said. "We had a hell of a reserve-grade side that hadn't lost for two years, and a lot of those guys are stepping up this season.
"Any team with Ryan Apps, the Tamateas, and Scott Fuller is always going to be strong."
Despite their strong start, Barton said his side couldn't get ahead of themselves.
"At the end of the day, we've only got four wins," he said. "We need to keep working hard, and hopefully we can give this competition a shake."
Match Notes
- Batemans Bay were without fullback Jesse Wighton, centre Ziggy Vincent, and hooker Nat Barnes for the match.
- Bega were able to rest their forwards for most of the second half, as the match never felt as close as the scoreboard may have suggested.
- Roosters five-eighth Joel Tamatea was particularly dangerous down the left edge, as his combination with centre Zach Cuzner proved near-impossible for the Tigers to stop.
- In the earlier games, the Bega Chicks beat Batemans Bay 58-0, and Bega won the reserve-grade match 40-8.
