Graham, along with renowned Sydney artist, Wendy Sharpe, will feature in the festival's "Artists in Conversation" series of events during the festival.
An award-winning figurative and abstract painter and print maker, Graham will be speaking at The Sandbar restaurant, Quay Hotel, Batemans Bay, over a sumptuous four course dinner on Saturday evening, 25 May.
"This year we are bringing together some great, nationally acclaimed artists with some artfully prepared food," said Di Jay, co-chair of the 2019 Festival.
Graham has been selected for the Archibald, Wynne, Sulman and Dobell Drawing prizes. His work is held in public and private collections across the country and internationally.
Living and working in Melbourne, Graham said: "I have always had a liking for images which engage the eye and drawings that are spontaneously arrived at rather than preordained. Pictures may appear simple, initially, but they reveal much more after contemplation. A good picture should be able to bear lots of looking at."
And Graham's certainly can.
The late Edmund Capon, Art Gallery of NSW former director, globally respected and sadly recently deceased, said Mr Fransella's work was "simultaneously direct, simple and confronting, as well as meditative experiences, built up through an endless layering of marks, surfaces and signs."
The Sandbar Chef David Tinker works with the finest produce from the South Coast, employing French techniques and Japanese inspiration.
David has worked at Michelin star restaurants internationally and his Sandbar restaurant won its first hat in 2018.
David has created a stunning four course menu to accompany a talk by Graham about his practice, his work and his life as an artist.
