The autumn weather provided perfect running and walking conditions for the Batemans Bay parkrun. It was a pleasure to welcome so many visitors to the Bay for the school holidays.

Josh Schulz, a visitor to the Bay, was first in a time of 18:35 minutes. The first female across the line was Bianca Montgomery Hribar in 23:16 minutes. PB times were recorded by Eddie Janssen, Kristy Raams, Leonie Wainwright and Luxmi Selvkumaran. Congratulations to all who participated and thank you to the fabulous volunteers, including Dan from Melbourne, who was unable to run so volunteered as photographer.
A number of regular parkrun participants, who have been inspired by their fitness achievements, took part in half and full marathon events at the Canberra Running Festival. Well done to all who competed.
All runners and walkers are welcome to join us on the 5km course. We meet every Saturday morning at 7:50am for an 8am start. You can register online at www.parkrun.com.au to obtain a barcode which you must bring along with you every week to get a recorded result. The venue is Rotary Park near the Marina roundabout in Batemans Bay.
