Telstra's website said there were outages at Maloneys Beach, Batehaven, Sunshine Bay, Denhams Beach, Surf Beach, Lilli Pilli and Runnyford.
The spokeswoman said there was planned ongoing maintenance affecting ADSL, 3G and 4G services.
She said 940 ADSL customers were unable to establish an internet connection in the area.
The ADSL outage in the area began at 9.11am on Monday, April 15 and was expected to take affect until 6pm the same day.
3G and 4G outages would take affect until 10am, Tuesday April 16.
A Telstra spokeswoman said if the problem was more complex, the outage would be extended.
She said the route cause was unknown and under investigation.
She said to check Telstra's webpage for more information.
Telstra's website states: "We're sorry for the interruption. We're working on getting your service returned as fast as possible."
A Eurobodalla woman expressed concerns she would not receive emergency bush fire text messages during the outage.
Responding to the concern, the Telstra spokeswoman said customers could go to another suburb as the outage was "specific to the site".
