Perfect weather conditions saw 30 Moruya Women Golfers play in a tightly contested 2 BBB Stableford event on Wednesday, April 10.
Jan Lumsden and Pat Cooper excelled by leading the field and taking out 1st place with an outstanding 43 points.
Formidable contender's Dee Meek and Shirley Noy, took out 2nd place with an impressive 41 points.
Noelene Levi and Dawn Davies in hot pursuit took out 3rd place with a notable 40 points.
NTP's went to Div.1's Barbara Kennedy on the 5th and Div.2's Vicki Goodwin on the 6th.
Dawn Davies achieved the longest drive in Div.3.

Tuross Head Country Club men's golf Saturday, April 6, 2019.
Tuross Head Country Club monthly medal competition is held over three grades each month and Leigh Coloe, scoring an excellent net 67 strokes, was the winner of the A grade division.
Leigh was closely followed by Ian McManus with 68 strokes and Martin Booth filled third placing with a net 70.
Herb Muriwai led home the B grade golfers with a net 70 strokes with Greg Smith and Tony Brown returning cards of 75.
C grade medal winner Richard Kelly scored an easy win in C grade with 69 strokes, with Michael Godford and Steve Johnston each finishing with 75 strokes.
Bruce Cleeve won the putting competition with 27 strokes.
Nearest the pin winners were:
A grade golfer Dave Schmid was closest on the 4th hole with 1.12m.
Al Gannon won the 6th with a very close 56 centimetres and medal winner Leigh Coloe was best on the 7th with 9.2m.
B grade player Greg Smith was awarded the 4th hole with 3.01m and Reg Apps was closest on the 6th hole with 10m.
Richard Kelly was the closest of the C grade golfers with 3.03m on the 4th hole and Mike Allen won the 6th with 5.89m.
The coming Saturday competition is the monthly Scoty stableford round.

Tuross Head Ladies Golf
The day started with glorious sunshine for the 17 ladies who set out to play in their second medal round.
The medal winner was Division 2's Dorothy Madden with a great score of 70 net.
Division one winner was - Leonie Doolan with a 78 net followed by - Leonie Snodgrass with a 79 net. Division two runner up was - Chris Wratten with an 81 net. In division three it was - Wendy Shmid with a 90 net, followed by - Shirley Quinlan with 92 net. Balls went to - Kay McLeod, Ann Ware, Judy Apps, Annette Manton.
The putting competition was won by - Kay McLeod with 27 putts.
The golden hole in division one was won by - Ann Ware in division two it was - Ann Challender.
Nearest the pins on the 6th - Leonie Doolan on the 15th - Leonie Snodgrass.

53 ladies played in the Stroke and Putting Monthly Medal event.

First gross: Olivia Wilson (handicap 0) 79 points.
Putting: Jo Taylor 29 putts.

B Grade:
First net: Sue Demamiel (handicap 29) 73 points.
Second net: Dorothy Partridge (handicap 30) 75 points.
First gross: Jemma Rogan (handicap 23) 101 points.

C Grade:
First net: Nanette Childs (handicap 36) 74 points.
Second net: Kelly Rogan (handicap 42) 77 points.

The ball competition went to 79 points.
Tuross Head Veterans Golf
After a cool start, the sun shone brightly in time for the 63 starters to play in a single stableford event, as well as the second round of the "Elaine Jennings" trophy for the ladies.
The winner was Chris Wratten with 21 points, followed by Patrick Sager also with 21 points.
Third place went to Richard Kelly with 20 points in fourth place it was Allen Lee who also had 20 points.
The Bradmans was awarded to Solveig Olsson and the Accuracy drive went to Steve Swanbury. Nearest the pins, 4th - Barry Hoban, 6th - Ross Hendy, 7th - Chris Wratten Herb Muriwai.
Ball or Chocolate went to Greg Thornton, Annette Manton, Barry Hoban, Graham Moore, Kay McLeod, Allen McLeod - 20 points. Steve Collins, Dorothy Madden - 19 points. Lyn Benger, Kevin Dukes, Bruce Ware, Peg Nevitt, Ian Manton - 18 points. Next week will be a par event.
Narooma Men's Golf
SATURDAY 6th APRIL. A field of 112 players took to the course for the April Monthly Medal with a resultant DSR of a consistent 73.
In A Grade David Bennett took top position with 71 net off his handicap of 3, followed by Bob Piper on 72.
Bill Durnan filled third position with 73 on countback from Bill Swan, Murray Walpole, Rod Streater and Ben Sealey.
In B Grade Michael Harris took out the Monthly Medal with a net score of 71 off his handicap of 21 on countback from Callum Annand.
Mark Falconer filled third place with 73.
The C Grade scores reflected the difficulty of the course where Margaret Brown emerged in front with 77 net off her handicap of 30.
Alby Donnelly finished runner-up on 79 , edging out Julie Melville on countback whose enthusiasm for the game has finally been rewarded.
The nearest-the-pin winners were Matt Corbett on 3, Murray Walpole on 9, Kevin Seamons on 14 and Ben Sealey on 17.
SUNDAY 7th APRIL. A field of 36 players competed in the first Mixed Fourball of the year, this time for the Walter Norris Trophy.
The winners were Kevin and Tracy Mitchell with 42 points, one point better than David and Maureen Hayward.
The nearest-the-pin winners were David Hayward on 14 and Meridie Banson on 17.
