The accident occurred at about 10.15am, near Murrays Road. The ambulance spokesperson said crews had assessed a 55-year-old woman with a back injury, and a 90-year-old male with a head injury.
Traffic was affected, and a contra-flow put in place.
Several police, ambulance and fire and rescue crews were on scene.
Police confirmed they attended the incident, but had no further details at this time.
On April 1, Gilmore candidate Warren Mundine announced the federal government would allocate $500 million to fix the Princes Highway if re-elected.
"This is a reward for the people of the South Coast who have been campaigning, and for all the work they have done to make this happen," he said.
