Where does madness begin and end?
Your paper often refers to the road between Mogo and Batemans Bay as the "mad mile", when the "mad mile" was actually the big hill after Deep Creek and as far as the old saw mill.

Years ago people used to try driving up it as fast as they could.
The road was worse, but there were less accidents.

Ambulance rollover another in long list of problems
Since the ambulance rollover last week on the Princes Highway, just a short distance north of Runnyford Rd, not far out of Mogo, there have been more requests for the government to act by making the Princes Highway safer to all users in the Eurobodalla Shire.
A political announcement was made a couple of weeks ago about by-passing Moruya.
The state government and Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) have been aware the highway in much of the Eurobodalla Shire has been sub-standard for years.
Those who have communicated with the RMS usually get referred to a 20-50 year plan that's been out of date for about the same amount of time.
The RMS knows drainage, cambers, water pooling, surfaces being too flat etc are not conducive to safe and efficient driving conditions.
That's been known for years, with nothing being done to properly resolve the problems.
Just have a look at what's occurring with the Princes Highway in Mogo after all the recent costly resurfacing work.

Maximum family fun, but what will happen next?
On Sunday, March 10, I had my granddaughters and friends down from Crookwell.
We played putt putt golf and had a wonderful, fun time.
We were there about 10am and there was a constant stream of families, adult groups and teenagers all enjoying this great past-time.
It made me wonder what was going to happen with the mini golf?
Where is it going?
It has been an institution for so many years.
You come over the bridge and the pink golf balls are there as one of the first things you see.
Even before we moved to the Bay five years ago, we used to have holidays down here and always had a game of mini golf.
Winners are grinners, as the picture above shows.

Do you know what to do if someone has a seizure?
Epilepsy Action Australia would like to encourage the Australian community to learn seizure first aid in order to reduce the fear they may experience if someone has a seizure in front of them. A series of animated seizure first aid videos for both children and adults can be viewed at www.epilepsy.org.au.
Seizure First Aid - Key Steps
· Stay with the person
· Keep them safe, removing anything that could hurt them
· Don't try to restrain them
· Don't put anything in their mouth
· Roll them onto their side once jerking/shaking subsides
· Reassure them until they have recovered
· Call an ambulance if the seizure lasts longer than five minutes.
