She said her farm practices were completely focused on "holistic management" and the farm vision was to contribute to a sustainable rural industry and local, secure food systems.
"What we were concerned about originally was there was too much restriction on farmers being able to be diverse with their farming ventures," she said, of early drafts of the strategy.
"In this region, we have a lot of small rural holdings in the Eurobodalla region.
"When farming on a small scale, you can't have all your eggs in one basket. You need to be able to be flexible and diverse to keep that vibrancy.
"If we get a wind storm and we've got chicken houses turned upside, we need to know that we've got another source of income while we're doing those repairs and I think that's really important to have that flexibility.
"The beauty of this LEP is that there is that diversity."

Ms Thompson said the new LEP provided more opportunities to the region for agricultural tourism.
She said the arts and crafts, beaches and rural landscape in the Eurobodalla region created a tight-knit community.
"People really want to share in the farming experience, and that's part of the appeal for our region," she said.
"There has been a strong support in the region for producing food within the region and having that low impact and low footprint. I think our community has really embraced the food we provide.
"There is a global movement that's turning away from strictly conventional agriculture, and moving towards more diverse farming systems.
"All of those things are built into this LEP - that people can be diverse on their farming and they can provide to their local regions or further afield if they want to. It's the diversity we're pleased to see, that we don't believe was in that original LEP.
"Primarily we want to leave our landscape to our children in a better condition than what we found it in. We are fascinated with biological farming and organic agriculture.
"We want to foster ethical and humane treatment of animals. We want to foster a relationship with our community and be able to interact and share our farming experience."
