Sonia Collins from Denhams Beach and her daughter from Canberra went on a wonderful three-night trip on the Queen Elizabeth cruise ship recently. They caught the ship in Sydney and spent three nights cruising down to Burnie in Tasmania, where they spent a day with some relations. The ship then sailed back to Melbourne, where they disembarked and flew home to Canberra.

The lovely Vi Merrett is celebrating the birth of a new great grandson, named Reegan Chase, in Queensland. Reegan was a big boy, weighing 9lb 8oz. Congratulations Vi.
Denise Brown recently had a lovely trip to Tasmania with a disabled girlfriend. They flew over to Launceston where they stayed a night, then picked up their hire car and drove to Strahan on the west coast. One of their highlights was a river cruise up the Gordon River.
Happy birthday wishes this week go to Shirley Lamont of Catalina who will be celebrating on Sunday with some girlfriends.
Happy birthday also to the lovely Ruth Manning of Moruya, who also celebrates on Sunday.
Carol Osling of Mogo has just returned from a quick trip, flying up to Port Macquarie for a funeral at Wauchope. Carol caught up with so many family and friends and commented it was a shame it was not under better circumstances.
Carol made it home in time to have a glass of champers with her friend Mary Watson, who was celebrating a big birthday in Mogo.
Carol is off to Bega this week to have her wrist checked, after breaking it recently. She said that all is good, it is getting stronger every day.
Dawn Barter and her daughters Donna Bell and Leanne Bollard recently spent a lovely long weekend in Dubbo, where they visited Dawn's sister and family. Dawn said Dubbo was very dry and most of the dams were dry from Cowra on to Dubbo.
At the Moruya Library on Sunday morning Terry Hunt and Clare Hack were seen visiting the Basil Sellers Exhibition Centre and admiring the artwork on display.
Wendy Nash of Catalina and her old friend Joan from the outskirts of Melbourne recently caught up on a cruise and tour of Tasmania. Wendy and Joan have done many trips together over the years, and on this one, Joan celebrated her 91st birthday. Let's hope you have many more together, Wendy.
