1st Bill Forge, Gordon Briscoe, Ron Cody & Glen Jobson 47 Stableford points
2nd Ray Fazakerley, Lionel Pellow, Steven Keon & Steve Dollimore 46 points
The distribution of balls went to 44 points
Nearest the East Coast Carts pin on the 7th was Jeff Whittle (A Grade) and Wayne Montgomery (B) Grade.

Tuross Head Men
The Tuross Head monthly Scoty stableford competition was held on Saturday, March 9.
Played in ideal conditions on a golf course that is rapidly gaining a reputation as a boutique venue due to its rapid development and improvements.
Golfers are able to enjoy playing on well manicured fairways and greens while enjoying views over Coila Lake and the Tasman Sea.
Low handicap golfer Adam Husband mastered the course this week with a remarkable high stableford score of 43 points.
Michael Allen filled second placing with 41 points ahead of Mitchell McLean on a countback.
Pete Nikolic with 40 points and Michael Hogan with 39 points were also on the winners list.
Nearest the pins were won by:
A grade golfer Mitch McLean was the best on the 4th hole with 2.3 m.
Mark Haberkorn won the 6th hole with 2.66 m and Colin Houghton was best on 7th with 2.12 m.
B grade division player Marcel Kors was awarded the 4th hole with 6.57 m.
Michael Kermode won the 6th with 1.74 m and Tony Brown was best on the 7th with 1.02 m.
Roger Chappell was the closest of the C grade golfers on the 4th hole with 4.35 m.
And Roger also won the 7th with 7.63 m.
Graeme Sindel was closest on the 6th hole with 7.63.
This weeks event will be an Irish 4 ball single stableford competition.
Thursday’s medley stableford event was won by Greg Smith with 39 points ahead of Brad Doolan and Tony Russell 37, Graeme Moore 36, Ian Kingston 34, Glen Shearer and Bruce Lidbury 33.
Nearest the pin winners were Colin Houghton, Chris Wratten and Ian McManus.

Tuross Head Veterans
After threatening skies on Wednesday, only a small field of 50 starters headed out to play in a special par event.
The winner, with a lovely +6 was one new player Ted Quinlan. Second place went to Ross Davidson, who is also a new member, with a + 5. Third place went to Graham Pratt, also with a + 5. In fourth place it was Kay McLeod with a + 4.
The Bradmans was awarded to Jennifer Gray and the Accuracy Drive was won by Lyn Benger.
Nearest the pins: 4th Ron Hanlon, 6th Shirley Quinlan, 7th Kath Crossling & Steve Swanbury. Ball or chocolate went to Len Rogers, Wal Williams and Allen Lee on + 4, Tony Crook, John Cox, Michael Godford and Jeanette Miller on + 3, Tim Starr, Sandra Hanlon and Greg Smith on + 2.
Next week will be the first round of the Elaine Jennings Trophy for the ladies.
Tuross Head Ladies
It was great to see 24 ladies turn up on Tuesday to play in the final round of the foursomes championships.
The gross champions were Pauline Nash & Marie Muriwai, followed by Leonie Snodgrass & Gayle MacAlpine.
The net champions were Dorothy Madden & Kath Crossling, followed by Elsa Shearer & Beverley Theobald.
Balls went to Chris Wratten & Ann Challender, Lyn Benger & Jennifer Gray, Jeanette Miller & Judy Apps, Teri Swanbury & Annette Manton. Congratulations to all the winners.

Moruya Women
In what can only be described as ideal conditions 26 Moruya Women golfers took to the fairways and played in the 1st Round of the Shirley Noy Trophy on Wednesday.
Congratulations go to Div.1’s Pauline Nash who was a well deserved winner taking out 1st place in a beautifully played round with 38 pts. Val Nixon, returning after recent illness, came in strong as runner-up on 34 pts.
Div. 2’s Lynette Gibbs returned from holiday’s on a high taking out 1st place with an impressive 37 pts with runner-up Val Moore scoring a notable 34 pts.
Div.1’s Barbara Swain “let it fly” and achieved the highly contested longest drive for the 2nd consecutive week.
