Mr Douglas states he did not incite students but simply informed them.
Once again we have someone from the green left weeing on our shoes and telling us it's raining.
Do you really expect us to buy that? Would you teachers please stick to teaching and stop planting your own seeds of agenda into inquiring young minds?
It's not part of your job description and you have absolutely no right to do it.
Let these kids form their own opinions when the time is right and leave your politics at home.
God knows the average adult has had a gut full of modern politics by the time they turn 30 and here you are instilling your own values in kids who havn't even paid the rent yet. Wake up Mr Douglas and rest assured we are going to keep a keen eye on your future actions.

'Pelicant' roost questioned
I would like to know who chose the site for our "Pelicant" on the rock wall at the Batemans Bay Marina.
I have asked quite a few people if they have seen it and nobody knows where it is.
I had a peek while driving past and could just see the top of it.
Not many people walk along the break wall and I think a better spot would have been further down towards the Bay, perhaps where the road goes into the water at the roundabout.
People could park there and get out of their cars and have a good look at it. I saw this sculpture out at Sculpture on Clyde at Willinga Park and a lot of people there commented how great it was and wondered what was going to happen to it.
So now we know where he will spend his future days.
It is great, but in the wrong spot.

Open letter to Bega candidates
A petition of more than 3000 signatories was received by the NSW Minister for Health in late 2018.
Both major parties have committed funding towards the development of a single new regional hospital for the Eurobodalla.
The petitioners requested firstly the immediate improvement to Accident and Emergency, Critical Care and Perioperative services.
Will you, as an elected or opposition representative of the people of the Eurobodalla, guarantee the immediate funding for the development of infrastructure and workforce of the Emergency and Critical Care services in the Eurobodalla?
Secondly, the petition requested the development of a single new regional base hospital with the level of services equal to the other regional and base hospitals in the health district.
The Eurobodalla region has the second largest population in the SNSWLHD behind Queanbeyan/Palerang region. It is larger than the Bega and Goulburn regions, which both have current or developing Intensive Care, Mental Health and Paediatric inpatient services.
Will you, as an elected or opposition representative of the people of the Eurobodalla, guarantee the development of level four Intensive Care, Mental Health and Paediatric services in the new Eurobodalla regional base hospital?
Please provide your response before the next NSW State election in the 23rd March, 2019.

Cutting words from Cuttagee
It is assumed advantageous for an electorate to have as its local member a senior minister, no matter what the regime.
The singularly scant benefits showered on the Bega electorate via our own Andrew Constance, currently Minister for rail-fail, and of lasting Ferry McFerryface infamy, are an excellent demonstration of the fallacy of that view.
In order to accumulate the financial reserves required to unnecessarily demolish and rebuild Sydney stadia and other comparably expensive metropolitan indulgences, we have seen very substantial numbers of decent state government jobs ripped out of our local economy here on the Far South Coast - without a whimper from Mr Constance. Take a wander through the pitifully decimated offices of the local Catchment Management Authority, National Parks, State Forests, Department of Lands. Try to find a living soul still working in them when you make an enquiry. You might get an automated message and a call back in a week or two.
These are/were agencies whose responsibility is to maintain the natural assets which underpin our economy; whose staff earned decent salaries in one of the poorest regions of NSW; whose spending contributed substantially to our economy. That the the main streets of our towns are gap-toothed with empty shops is no accident - it is the fruition of a deliberate government policy to eliminate regional government jobs, for which Mr Constance should take full responsibility. All we will hear about in coming weeks prior to the election is the "trickle-down" benefits from investment in tourist infrastructure. Well we all know what tends to trickle down and most of us don't find such showers of gold to our taste.
Thanks Andrew! Fellow electors: time to take out the garbage!
