If you can't make it to the polls on Saturday, March 23, there are several early voting options available.
This can be done in person at an election manager's office, online or via postal vote.
Where can I vote in person?
There are several locations to cast your vote early. Voting is compulsory for all people on the electoral roll. Pre-poll voting is available from 8am on Monday, March 11 at the following locations and times:
Batemans Bay Community Centre: 2 Museum Place
Moruya Mechanics Institute: 13 Page Street
Narooma CWA Hall: 96 Campbell Street.
Bega Election Manager's Office: 3 Hill Street
Merimbula: Twyford Hall, 16 Market Street
Opening hours:
Monday to Friday: 8am to 6pm
Thursday, March 21: 8am to 8pm
Saturday: 9am to 5pm
Sunday: Closed
People who are blind, vision impaired or who have another disability, live more than 20km from the nearest polling place, or who will be outside NSW on election day, can apply to use the iVote system to vote via the internet or the telephone.

Who am I voting for?
The following is a list of state election candidates running for the seat of Bega in the order they will appear on the ballot papers:
Andrew Constance - Liberal
Will Douglas - The Greens
Leanne Atkinson - Country Labor
Joshua Shoobridge - Australian Conservatives
Coral Anderson - Animal Justice Party
Thomas Clyde - Shooters, Fishers and Farmers
iVote electronically-assisted voting
Applications close at 1pm on March 23.
Votes can be cast using iVote from 8am on March 11 until 6pm on March 23.
Votes can be verified within one hour of voting. Receipts can be checked until March 29.
Postal voting
Postal vote applications will be accepted until 6pm on March 18. You can apply for a postal vote at www.elections.nsw.gov.au. Postal vote ballot papers will be sent from March 12.
Who is eligible to vote early or pre-poll?
You may be eligible to vote in person before election day at an early voting centre if you:
- will be outside New South Wales on election day
- will be more than 8km from a voting centre in your electorate, ward or council area on election day
- will be travelling and unable to attend a voting centre on election day
- are seriously ill or infirm, and due to such illness or infirmity will be unable to attend a voting centre
- are approaching maternity
- have religious membership or beliefs that prevent you from attending a voting centre on election day
- are in a correctional centre and prevented from attending a voting centre on election day
- are caring for a person outside of a hospital setting, which prevents you from attending a voting centre on election day
- will be working on election day
- are a silent elector
- are a person with a disability
- believe that attending a voting centre on election day will place your personal safety or the safety of your family at risk.
