Final weeks of rehearsal are always a demanding time as actors, under the guidance of their director, are encouraged to add more layers to their characters which can be a little overwhelming at times.
Last Thursday night, rehearsal was a breakthrough point for cast with Di Minihan thrilled with the confidence shown in letting go of inhibitions and giving a truly amusing performance.
This week cast will have background music, chosen and sourced by producer Lyn Sterling, added to a few scenes bringing new challenges in projecting their voices over distracting sound necessary for particular effect. Patrons are in for a cracker of a show.
Dags will be on stage on March 29, 30, 31 and April 5, 6, 7. Tickets are available online at www.baytheatreplayers.org.au. If you prefer to purchase tickets in person, the Box Office is open at the theatre on Saturdays only from 10am to 12 noon. There are only eight shows so book your tickets now.
