After a break for supper provided by Jill Armstrong, two of our members Beth Westra and Rob Geraghty displayed and discussed images that had been submitted by themselves and Yvonne Matthews to the Australian Photography magazine competition.
This competition attracts over 26,000 entries from Australia and New Zealand. Rob entered a folio of four images into the "wildlife" category, taken from his trip to the Arctic. Beth submitted her four images to the "Monochrome" category, taken from the Braidwood Rodeo and Yvonne submitted her folio to the "Portrait" category.
To achieve a standard of highly commended and commended in a prestigious competition is a significant achievement for our three members. Congratulations to Rob, Beth and Yvonne.
We warmly welcome new members and visitors to our club. Drop in at 7pm on the fourth Tuesday of the month (except December) at the Tomakin Community Hall and share our passion for photography.
