Ms Law, who attends the University of Wollongong, was named the winner of the Jacobs Engineering Consulting Award at the GradConnection’s Top 100 Future Leaders award night on Wednesday, February 13.
Two other University of Wollongong students, Kelly Gleeson and Ann Pham, were also finalists in two other categories.
In addition to her studies, Ms Law is also a crew member on a Westpac Lifesaver Helicopter 23. She has also been a long-time member and helper at the Broulee Surf Club.
With one year to go in her degree, she is focused on how the issues of coastal sustainability and management.
“Leadership means being a role model in your field but also it is about being able to motivate and encourage people around a common goal,” she said.
