The RMS said there would be changed traffic conditions between Clyde and North streets during utility service upgrades from Monday, February 11.
The southbound slow lane will be closed for the relocation of underground utility services in preparation for major work on the Batemans Bay Bridge replacement project.
Work will be carried out between 7am and 6pm on weekdays and 8am and 1pm on Saturdays, weather permitting.
Traffic control will be in place for the safety of workers with the current speed limit remaining unchanged.
Motorists will be restricted to one southbound lane for the duration of the work.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
