Other winning teams were: Dawn Stove, Tania Calder and Bev Feehan; Eileen Penman, Serena Short and Margaret Wisbey; Judy Lane, Bess Holloway and Cecily White; Sue Palmer, Tricia Wheeler, Pat Weekes and Carol Dutkiewicz.
Margaret Bridges wished birthday girls Fran Lucas, Maralyn White and Helene Szendeleit a wonderful day and we all sang happy birthday.

Tomakin Twist Tops
There were 46 bowlers on the greens last Sunday enjoying their morning of bowls along with some great music.
President Steven Hogan welcomed everyone, inviting all to a barbecue breakfast next Sunday, January 27 at 8 am.
Our committee does a fantastic job organising the morning’s bowls each week but it isn’t helpful when bowlers put their names down to bowl then don’t turn up! Teams then have to be rearranged. So please make sure this doesn’t happen Twisties.
Winners were those on the biggest losing margin, Cathy Egan and Tony Dobson. Runners-up were Peter Crowe and Stuart Megee.
As winning Skip Brian Wheeler selected rink 9 to try for Jackpot and the cards were cut by Patrick Wheelahan who came up with Ace of Hearts. The jackpot is now at $206.
Everyone welcome to Sunday Twist Tops. Come along and join in the fun.

Social Triples: Thursday, January 17
Today’s winners were Bob Starkovski, Reion James, and Ross Hardy with a very healthy margin of plus 32.
The runners up were John Signor, Gerry Vandermey, and Clive Beadon with a plus 25.
The jackpot draw went to the winning skip on rink 11. Ross Hardy missed the joker, and with the deck getting thin the $500 kitty will go off.
Nominated Pairs: Monday, January 21
Forty eight bowlers had a great day and enjoyed very favourable conditions on the green.
The winners were Stuart Megee and Brett Megee with a margin of plus 22. The runners up were Adam Pooley and Ken Croft with a plus 12.
The jackpot draw went to rink John Muldrew, the winning skip on rink 5. The joker was not turned up so the $500 jackpot carries over once again.
2019 Club Championships
Conditions were reasonably pleasant for the first two rounds of the Club Fours played last weekend.
Under the new format sides were evenly matched which resulted in close games.
The final will be contested next Sunday afternoon between Peter Harris, Adam Pooley, and Jamie Cormie, with Bob Brown as skip, and Barrie Stone, Geoff Millard, and Mike Hall, with Steve Gigg as skip.
Best of luck to both sides who have performed very well to get to the final.
2019 Club Triples
Nominations for the Club Triples close this Thursday, January 24.
There are some pretty competitive sides entered so there will be some tough contests fought out to decide the winners.
