The camp was held on Sunday, January 13, at the University of New England.
Ian Filmer and myself were lucky enough to be included in the community coaching staff who worked alongside the Waratahs development for this camp.
It provided opportunities for all to learn and develop skills with ongoing education and feedback of each of the key components of Rugby.
Coming into the camp for the first time after a 10-hour drive, I felt a lot of uncertainties. This was quickly laid to rest with the willingness and transparency of Waratahs development officers to grow the game of rugby.
With our Juniors representative program being successfully reintroduced last season, and the increasing numbers of girls and boys within our region’s programs, 2019 is set to see a new and exciting era of rugby.
