A big belated happy birthday also to Helen Westman who thought she had slipped through our loop!
Taiden Norman, South Pacific Roof Trusses worker extraordinaire, will be cutting into a big cake to celebrate his birthday today!
Happy wedding anniversary to Amanda and Kaine Belltowers. Seven years of bliss!
The book readers of Moruya must be happy with their library open and running again after a closure of a couple of weeks. The extensions to the back of the library are still under way, and it will be opening next month as an Art Gallery.
The Probus Club of Moruya this week had lunch out at a local hotel, and the Rotary Club of Moruya were enjoying their weekly summer evening BBQ at the home of Col and Bron Jay on their Moruya property. Both clubs enjoy good company and good fellowship.
Viv Wheatley from Batemans Bay won the raffle at the Queanbeyan Players production of Godspell at the Queanbeyan Performing Arts Centre. Viv is a member of the Bay Theatre Players. She co-ordinates front of house and is often the ticket seller at the Playhouse. The prize was the picnic table used as part of the set of Godspell.
The picnic table was built by Greg Granger, son-in-law of Jenny Grinlinton from Long Beach. Jenny's daughter Lauren Granger had a lead role in Godspell. Jenny was at the performance in Queanbeyan when the raffle was drawn and Viv's name was read out as the winner. Viv loved Godspell and is very pleased to have won the table and it has been well used by family and friends during the holiday period.
