Ms Berejiklian conferred the bravery awards on Sam Reedy, Angus Knight, and Lexus Knight at Batemans Bay Surf Life Saving Club on Tuesday, January 8.
She was visiting the Batemans Bay Surf Life Saving Club with Bega MP Andrew Constance.
The volunteer teens were part of a combined rescue effort on December 25, 2018 and later said, “you just do it”.
“I get to do a lot of cool things as Premier and today I get to present courage and bravery awards for surf life saving,” Ms Berejiklian said.
“I feel so incredibly proud of each and every one of you and the way you conducted yourselves.
“You three are an example to everyone across the state,” she told the teens.
Mr Constance also congratulated the teens on their efforts.
“I couldn’t be more proud of what Lexus, Angus and Sam did on that day because it embodies the spirit of surf lifesaving and our local community,” he said.
“To think these young guys volunteering on Christmas Day actually saved a couple of lives.”
