Tomakin Men’s Bowls
Social Bowls: Thursday, December 20.
With an electrical storm building and the rain setting in with a heavy downpour, we decided to call it a day and scamper for cover in the club.
Prize winners were decided by a random draw.
The winners of the Christmas hams were John Zanotti, Tony Robinson, and Ross Hardy.
The runners up were Michael Voce, Trevor Trevillian, and Phil Versteeg.
The jackpot draw went to the winning skip on rink three. Milka Starkovski did not pick the joker and the $500 jackpot carries over to January 3.
Social Bowls: Monday, December 24.
We could see clearly now the rain has gone. Gone are the dark clouds that had us blind, and we had a bright, bright sunshiny day.
The winners were Fred Goodman, Tony Robinson and Brett Megee with a margin of plus 23.
The runners up were Milka Starkovski, Ian Standish, and Ross Hardy with a plus 11.
The jackpot draw went to the winning skip on rink two. Owen Roe overlooked the joker and the $500 jackpot carries over to next Monday.
Congratulations to Jamie Cormie who got right into the spirit of the season and won a ham for being the best dressed bowler on the day.
Christmas / New Year Message
